We accept advertising on the site from companies involved in music or education which are not directly competing with MyMusicTheory.com (i.e. not selling music theory materials).
Traffic and PageRank
MyMusicTheory.com currently enjoys around 30,000 unique visitors per month. Due to the timing of the ABRSM exams in the UK, we have peak periods in March, June and November. Detailed site stats can be viewed here.
The MyMusicTheory.com homepage has a Google pagerank of 4. Many of the other pages within the site are also ranked from 1-3.
Our visitors tend to be high income, well-educated people.
Advertising Placements
1. Text links. We can add a text link to your site with your specified link text. Link ads can increase traffic and also up your pagerank. Pricing therefore depends on the PR of the page where the link is placed.
2. Banner or Logo ads. We can add a banner or logo to each page or individually chosen pages. Please note that for the current price for the above the fold (top) wide banner position (features on around 300 pages), the price is 80GBP per month. Current top banner ads receive on average 16 clicks per day (CTR 0.63%). The top banner position is only available site-wide and not for individual pages. Other positions are available on single pages. You may also be interested in placing a banner or logo on our blog site.
3. Blog posts. If you have a suitable product/site, you might like to have it featured on our blog. We can review your product, interview you about it, or publish your own copy. All blog posts are also automatically pinged to our Facebook page. Blog posts are paid with a one-off fee, the post will not be deleted.
Pricing
Pricing is open to negotation. The following ratecard is a broad guideline for one year's contract (except for blog posts). Prices are in UK pounds. Other variations are possible - please ask.
