The BBC's Young Musician of the Year Award was won in 2008 by Peter Moore, trombonist. He is the youngest ever winner of the prestigious competition at 12 years old. Peter has been the principal trombone player for the National Children's Brass Band of Great Britain since he was only 9 years old.
